In what may be the most blatant and stunning discovery to date in the mortgage fraud game, actual public records with the words “BOGUS ASSIGNEE” and “BOGUS ASMTS” as the GRANTEE in the records themselves have been found in cases in AL and FL that have been used in actual foreclosure proceedings resulting in people losing their homes.
While this seems completely impossible (What county clerk would file a document with BOGUS ASSIGNEE as the Grantee in a transfer of the mortgage note and deed? It seems that it is NOT impossible and SOMEBODY forgot to replace their BOGUS TEMPLATE TEXT with a “REAL” FAKE NAME… and did it a LOT.
Here are two sample documents from actual public records files… we swear to you, we are NOT making this stuff up… I mean, you know what they say - Truth is stranger than fiction.
Thanks to Karl Denninger for running the story - picked up from 4closurefraud.org
